Fun, varied, progressive classes in gymnastics,
freestyle, aerial and circus
for all levels!
Gymnastics is a barefoot activity. Recreational gymnasts can wear leotards, shorts, leggings, stirrups (for boys), or tracksuits β all available in our club shop. Close-fitting sports tops are allowed, but cropped or loose-fitting tops are not suitable as they ride up and can obstruct vision when upside down. Skorts are not permitted. Clothing with buttons, zips, or buckles is also unsuitable for safety reasons. Younger children should wear sliders or easy slip-on shoes so they can change quickly at the end of class.
Hair must be tied back away from the face. French or Dutch braids are ideal, as they stay neat and secure throughout the session.
Jewellery and watches are not permitted. Newly pierced ears must be covered with micropore tape during the healing period.
Once healing is complete, earrings must be removed before taking part in class.
Kara should be covered with a double length wrist band like
these
for safety.
Please enter through the left-hand entrance door and wait in the corridor until gymnasts are registered. At the end of class, children will leave via the fire exit directly into the car park.
Parents are welcome to watch, but only from the corridor. Once all gymnasts are registered, the doors are left open so parents can sit outside and view the session. For safety reasons, no parents are permitted inside the gym during classes.
Gymnasts should bring a sealable water bottle to avoid spills. Mobile phones should be left at home if possible; if brought, they must stay with shoes/coats and not be used during sessions.
We run a members-only WhatsApp Community where we share quick
updates, reminders, and important notices for parents and guardians.
To keep the group safe and limited to current members, we donβt publish a
public join link.
Please speak to Steve or one of the coaches at your childβs session,
and weβll be happy to add you.
All gymnasts start with a trial session.
If your child chooses to continue gymnastics after the trial, they will need to join the Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA) for insurance and membership purposes (not required for circus classes).
There is a link to their website below for when youβre ready:
