Fun, varied, progressive classes in gymnastics, aerial circus arts
and circus floor based skills
for all levels!
For our Recreational Gymnasts we recommend leotards with shorts, leggings or tracksuits. Children are premitted to wear close fitting cropped sports tops, however, these tops are not recommended as they can be uncomfortable for bar work. Loose t-shirts that can be tucked in are also good but cropped loose fitting t-shirts are not permitted as they ride up, and are uncomfortable for the athletes and obstruct their view when upside down.
Hair must be tied back away from the face where possible. Jewellery and watches are not permitted. Newly pierced ears must be covered with micropore tape. Mobile phones are not to be used during sessions and must be kept with shoes/coats though we recommend not bringing mobile phones to the gym at all if possible as we do not accept liability for any damage during, before or after classes.
You can purchase our Sleeveless Training Leotard in red here. Just select the red and black one when placing your order. This Leotard can be worn with shorts or leggings. We recommend the leggings for circus as the hoop is uncomfortable against the skin. You can also purchase the long sleeved (competition) version of the leotard here. Again, just select the colour red. This can also be worn at competitions by our competitive gymnasts. Along with the our jumper and leggings. We also have a scrunchie to match either leotard. Here is the boys leotard we recommend (choose the black/red option for our club colours) which can also be worn with shorts, tracksuit bottoms, stirrups or leggins.

For home and personal equipment and supplies, we highly recommend Gymnastics Planet, a local business.
I have personally worked with the owner for years in the gymnastics field; he is an experienced ex-gymnast and coach, providing specific expertise in the sport.
As such, all of the products sold are of high quality and reliability.
When it comes to handguards, there are many different types. We recommend beginner palm guards. Please check the size chart on that page to ensure the correct fit.
Underneath the palm guards, gymnasts wear double-length wrist bands to help hold them in place. Additionally, a chalk block with a box for the chalk is essential. Lastly, your child will need a gym bag to store their personal equipment.
